Canyon Lake Australian Shepherds  is located in Aledo, Texas, about 15 miles West of Fort Worth.  Our property includes a lake, wooded areas, a creek and a lot of room for our Aussies to run, play and just enjoy their lives!  Our Aussies are a part of our family first and foremost.  Each is loved as if they were the only one.

To call ourselves a hobby breeder would be selling our role short.  This is much more than a hobby; it is an incredible responsibility and one we don't take lightly.  Breeding Australian Shepherds to produce a sound temperament, solid structure and the best chance at a healthy life is our highest goal.  Likewise, it is of utmost importance that we place our puppies in homes that will give them a lifetime of unconditional love.  We are their only link between leaving their mother's care and the way they will live the rest of their lives.  What an awesome responsibility!

Australian Shepherds are an amazing mix of extreme intelligence, striking beauty and the physical ability to do just about anything!  They are often trained to become therapy dogs, search and rescue dogs, and are used in narcotics detection.  They often compete in the show ring, agility, flyball, obedience, and rally.  However, their most important role in our opinion is that of faithful friend and loyal companion.  They desire nothing more than your love and affection.  They deserve your utmost care.

 As we move forward in this endeavor, we will strive to consistently educate ourselves about all aspects of Australian Shepherd health and well-being and adjust our program accordingly.  We will constantly aspire to be a well respected, true testament to our love of the Australian Shepherd breed.
